Step-by-step procedure
- Connect the Thinkdiag2 to the OBD2 port (lower left of the steering column).
- Turn ignition ON (engine off is fine).
- Start a new session in the app and choose Skoda, or let the scanner detect the VIN automatically.
- Let the scanner connect to the car and read the module list.
- Go to System selection.
- Select 17 — Instrument Cluster.
- Open Coding / Long Coding.
- Read the current long coding string and note it down before changing anything.
- Edit byte 01. In our example:
11 0E 01(seatbelt warning ON) → change to11 0C 01(seatbelt warning OFF). - Save / write the coding to the cluster.
- With the seatbelt unbuckled, the dash icon disappears right after saving.
- Clear any DTCs and close the session.
Seatbelt warning is now off.
