Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on IamCarHacker (https://iamcarhacker.com), operated by Carhacker OÜ, including digital products, courses, and memberships.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Nature of Digital Products

All products and services offered on this Website are digital in nature and delivered immediately after purchase.

Once access is granted, the product is considered fully delivered.

2. Pro Access Subscription

Pro Access is a recurring monthly subscription service, currently priced at €10 per month.

2.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or via the Stripe customer portal.

After cancellation:

  • No further charges will be made
  • Access continues until the end of your current paid billing period
  • No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of the billing period

2.2 No Refunds for Past or Current Periods

  • No refunds are issued for the current billing period after the subscription becomes active
  • No refunds are issued for any past billing periods, regardless of usage
  • No partial refunds are provided

It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle if you no longer wish to be charged.

2.3 Failed Payments

If your recurring payment fails:

  • Stripe will automatically retry the payment over the following days
  • If all retries fail, your subscription will be cancelled and access revoked
  • No further charges will be attempted after cancellation

3. Lifetime Access (Legacy Members)

Pro Access was previously offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. Lifetime members who purchased before the transition to the monthly subscription model retain permanent access at no further cost.

For these lifetime purchases:

  • The product is considered fully delivered upon access being granted
  • No refunds are issued for lifetime purchases under any circumstances, including lack of usage, change of mind, misunderstanding of content, or perceived lack of value

4. Technical Issues

Refunds may be considered if:

  • The purchased content is completely inaccessible due to a verified technical issue on our side, and
  • The issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe

Technical issues do not include:

  • Lack of knowledge or experience
  • Incompatibility with your vehicle, tools, or setup
  • Misunderstanding of instructions
  • User error
  • Change of mind

5. EU Consumer Rights

EU consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights regarding the supply of digital content and services.

To exercise this right:

  • Send a written request to info@iamcarhacker.com within 14 days of the original purchase
  • Include your order details and the reason for the request
  • Requests received after the 14-day statutory period will be handled in accordance with the rest of this Refund Policy

This statutory right does not extend to recurring subscription payments made after the initial 14-day period. Cancellation of a subscription, as described in Section 2, does not entitle you to a refund of past payments.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Permanent loss of access to all purchased content
  • Reporting of the dispute to Stripe and potential restriction of future purchases
