From my testing with Peugeot and Citroën cars, I’ve found that most basic OBD2 scanners only read engine faults and ignore key systems like suspension, ABS, or BSI body control. To get proper diagnostics and coding, you need a scanner that supports PSA-specific protocols and can perform coding, adaptations, and service resets. The best scanners for Peugeot and Citroën provide full access similar to the official Diagbox software used at dealerships.
