From my testing with Renault and Dacia cars, I’ve seen that most cheap scanners only show engine faults and miss systems like ABS, airbags, or immobilizer. To diagnose these cars properly, you need a scanner that supports Renault-specific protocols, key programming, and ECU coding. The best scanners for Renault and Dacia can reach every control unit just like the official Clip or Renolink tools.
