Winner for low price-range: Thinkscan plus S7
Both Mucar scanner offer only engine diagnostics. There is option to pay for additional updates for full-system scan, bi-directional control but that starts adding up and it make sense to just buy more expensive scanner if you need all of that.
Thinkscan S7 is nice compromise between price and functionality with 7-system diagnostics and 5 service resets (you can choose which ones you want)

Winner for mid-range scan tool: Mucar VO7
Mucar is only one that comes with ECU coding which is such a great feature to have in scanner. Even though it is only one without free lifetime updates, 3-years free period gives enough time to resell it. Or you can just keep using it on old software without paying.
All-in-one scanner
Mucar VO8 has more connection cables but Mucar 892BT is clearly better with access to mechanic community, extra apps and built in AI helper. With current discount the Mucar 892BT is winner even when compared to Thinkscan 689.
