Ancel AD310 Bluetooth | Owner’s Review

Ancel AD310 is the Bluetooth version of the best-seller Amazon Code reader Ancel AD310. Not only you get the same useful code reader, you can also connect it to your smartphone and use it with the Ancel app.

Ancel AD310 BT Review

Ancel AD310 BT
The Ancel AD310 BT is only basic code reader with smartphone bluetooth connectivity.
- Interesting concept
- Does't offer that many useful features when connected to phone

Testing Ancel AD310 Bluetooth
I tested the code reader on a few different cars along with other code readers, even including the non-Bluetooth version of Ancel AD310.

You can use AD310 BT in 2 modes: OBD-II and Bluetooth mode.

For OBD-II mode, the AD310 Bluetooth is exact same thing as AD310 non-Bluetooth.

The only difference is the brighter screen, but since my classic AD310 is a few years older it might be just an age difference.

Using Bluetooth mode is simple, simply select it and download the Ancel app from your app store.

Connection is very simple, I did not have any trouble and got connected almost instantly after launching the app.

This is the main screen of the Ancel app which gives pretty much the same options like code reader and then adds a few extra tabs.
For example, performance tests or dashboard sections.

I cannot say much bad about this code reader, it really is an interesting concept but it didn’t make my best engine code readers list.
It is still the cool concept of adding Bluetooth elements into a traditional code reader and you definitely will be satisfied if you decide to get it, I just personally like some others more.
