Step-by-step procedure
Forget the VCI device
Go to tablet Bluetooth settings and remove the paired IM608 VCI entry completely.
Restart both devices
Power off the tablet and unplug the VCI from the OBD2 port. Wait 15 seconds, then power both back on.
Re-pair
Open the Autel app, go to VCI Manager, and pair again from scratch.
Additional information & compatibility notes
This is specific to Bluetooth pairing failures after a software update. If the VCI does not power on at all, that is a hardware issue, not covered here.
