I like that when you are reading codes, you can get fault code extended description which will give you possible causes for your fault codes.
Check this out, in case of P0200.
There is “I” as an information button, just press it.
Now scanner will tell you the most common reasons why you might have this fault code.
Pretty cool right? You can also erase these fault codes and get rid of your check engine light.
Do emission test (smog check)
You can check the status of your emission monitors to see if you would pass the state emission check. In this case, I would pass with flying colors 😀
Read engine live data
You can also read engine live data and even display them as graphs which will help you diagnose the source of your fault code.
