I recently tried this ELM327 adapter from VGate and I must say it was one of the best I tried lately. It works on iOS and Androids and even when using it for the first time everything worked without issues.
I didn’t even have to look at instructions, using it with multiple OBD2 apps was super simple.

VGate Vlinker FS Overview
I like the Vgate Vlinker since it has a new ELM327 chip and you don’t have to worry about it draining your battery. It stops draining power shortly after you turn off your car.
You can also use it with a bunch of different OBD-II apps and enjoy the high speed this adapter provides in comparison to cheaper aliexpress ones.
Works for both Android & iOS. There is a new version, the Vlinker MS, you might want to check it out.

Video: Using Vlinker FS for the first time
I tried it with 2 cars (Punto 2004 and Corolla 2022) and with a bunch of different OBD2 apps and could not find any con. Price is also competitive for the speed is provides.
Here are some OBD apps you can use with Vlinker FS, but basically any app that doesnt require special adapter and is in the App Store will work.
I tested a lot of different Bluetooth OBD scanners

I tested more than 30 different Bluetooth OBD scanners, so the review is crafted based on the level of value it can give you for money spent. Here is a list of the Best Bluetooth OBD scanners.
