The community is for people who work on cars: questions, answers, useful links and real results. These rules are part of our Terms and Conditions. Breaking them can get your content removed and your account closed.

1. Who can post

Anyone can read questions and the short description of shared links. Posting, answering, voting, downloading shared links and contacting other members is for members (any account with a purchase of credits or the course).

Posts can be published by members and by the iamcarhacker team. Some posts, including some by the team, are shown under a display name or pseudonym instead of a real name.

2. What you can share

  • Official software, updates, manuals, wiring diagrams and documents that may be shared freely
  • Your own notes, procedures, spreadsheets and results
  • Links to legal tools, guides and resources that helped you
  • Honest experience with tools and jobs, good or bad

3. What is not allowed

  • Cracked, “patched” or keygen software, license or activation bypasses, and any software or file you do not have the right to share
  • Paid content copied from someone else (courses, databases, service manuals sold by their owner)
  • Malware or files you have not checked yourself
  • Help with stealing vehicles, accessing vehicles without the owner’s permission, or lowering a vehicle’s mileage to mislead anyone
  • Personal data of others: full VINs linked to a person, names, phone numbers, addresses, plate numbers
  • Spam, advertising you were not asked for, affiliate links of your own, fake reviews
  • Insults, threats, harassment or discrimination
  • Anything else that is illegal in the European Union or in Estonia

4. Shared links: read before you download

We do not host, check or license the files behind shared links. Download at your own risk, scan everything, and use software only if you are allowed to under its license. Always back up a control unit before writing to it.

5. Contact requests

When you send a contact request to a member, your email address is sent to that member so they can write to you. If they accept, their email address is sent to you. Only send requests to people you actually want to talk to. Using contact details for spam or harassment gets your account closed.

6. Report content

If you believe content on the Website is illegal, infringes your copyright or other rights, or breaks these rules, email info@iamcarhacker.com with the subject “Content report” and include:

  • the exact URL of the content;
  • why you believe it is illegal or infringing (for copyright: which work is yours or your client’s);
  • your name and email address (not required for reports about child sexual abuse material);
  • a statement that the information in your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

We confirm that we received your report, review it without undue delay, and remove or disable the content if the report is justified. Rights holders get priority. We tell the person who posted the content what we did and why, and they can reply to info@iamcarhacker.com to ask us to review the decision.

7. What we can do

  • Edit or remove any content, including removing links from a post
  • Hide content while we review a report
  • Limit how often an account can post
  • Suspend or close accounts, especially for repeated infringements

We explain our decision to the affected member unless the law or safety prevents it.
