Our Position on AI-Generated Content
AI has many legitimate uses. Unfortunately, it is also widely used to generate large volumes of reviews and recommendations without any hands-on experience.
IamCarHacker is built as the opposite of that approach.
All core content on this website is based on:
- real tools
- real vehicles
- real testing
- real diagnostic work
AI is used only to assist, not to invent or replace experience.
How Reviews and Technical Content Are Created
Most products featured on IamCarHacker are:
- personally tested by me, or
- tested through direct collaboration with trusted industry contacts
Every review, comparison, and recommendation is based on:
- original research
- hands-on use
- practical limitations observed in real conditions
AI does not decide:
- which products are recommended
- how tools are ranked
- whether a product is good or bad
Those decisions are based on experience, not automation.
How AI Is Used on IamCarHacker
AI may be used in the following limited ways:
Content Structuring & Formatting
AI helps:
- organize long technical notes into readable articles
- structure fault-code explanations
- improve clarity and consistency
For example, OBD-II fault code articles may be structured with AI assistance, but:
- the diagnostic logic
- causes
- testing steps
- conclusions
are based on real diagnostic cases and research performed beforehand.
Efficiency, Not Volume
AI allows content to be published more efficiently, not at mass scale.
The goal is clarity and usefulness — not producing hundreds of low-quality pages.
How AI Is NOT Used
AI is not used to:
- write reviews of products that were never tested
- generate fake experiences
- automatically rank or score tools
- replace hands-on diagnostics
- create content solely for search engines
If a product or procedure appears on this website, it exists because it was researched, tested, or practically evaluated.
Transparency & Trust
Trust is critical in automotive diagnostics.
That is why:
- AI usage is disclosed openly
- editorial decisions remain human
- experience always comes first
