Otofix D1 Lite Review

I didn’t test this scan tool personally, but I had a colleague from Autointhebox, here is what he sent me:

I tested the OTOFIX D1 Lite on three vehicles.

The setup was straightforward, and the tool connected easily via both Bluetooth and USB. It performed well in scanning all systems across these different models, offering smooth diagnostics and clear information.

The OTOFIX D1 Lite stood out for its bidirectional controls, which were easy to use and worked as expected during tests like activating the fuel pump and modulating the throttle. Its 38+ service functions, including ABS bleeding and oil resets, made it a versatile tool for a range of tasks. While it doesn’t offer advanced features like ECU coding, the two years of free updates and wide vehicle coverage make it a solid option for home mechanics and small shops.
